William: (on playing Hamlet at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival) It was heaven. Playing one of the greatest roles ever written and getting paid for it was a fabulous revelation. I had a wonderful time.

William helped his Roswell co-star Nick Wechsler learn how to play guitar. In addition to guitar, William knows how to play the ukelele and the mandolin.
William won one of the top prizes in his high school variety show performing a monologue.
William played "The Grim Reaper" in both Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and Tales from the Crypt.
William has been married to Marni Joan Bakst since 1977. They have one child together.
