Wendi: (On Hollywood's pressure to be thin) Well, first you have to ask yourself if you want to be the kind of actress who's interesting, or the kind of actress who's meant to play the pretty-but-uninteresting wife of a chubby guy on a network sitcom. If you want to play the good roles, spend more time in college and in acting class than you do in the gym, and you'll have the career you want. Talent always wins out in the long run.
Wendi's Reno 911! character, Clementine Johnson, landed the number ten spot on Maxim magazine's "Top 10 TV Nymphos."
Wendi has appeared in specials for both E! and VH1.
Wendi developed her Reno 911! character, Clementine, at the Groundling Theater. Clementine did not start out as a cop, however.
TV Guide called Wendi the "Queen of Improv" because of her roles on both Reno 911! and Lovespring International.
She graduated from California State University Long Beach with a B.A. in Liberal Studies/Creative Writing.
