Tress is uncredited as the voice of Boobarella on The Simpsons. Boobarella is a parody of Cassandra Peterson's character, Elvira, the host of Movie Macabre.
Tress MacNeille took over the role of Lunch Lady Doris after her original voice actress, Doris Grau, passed away. The character was originally set to be "Retired" after her death, but 10 years later she was brought back into the show with Tress as her voice over.
