Traylor: (on her character on Monk) Natalie is a mom, making her protective. She's bright, assertive, and patient. And now being with Adrian Monk is a new experience that she is into. She's almost like a Nancy Drew.
Traylor admits that being the "new girl" on the Monk set wasn't too difficult.
Traylor thinks that she could deal with Adrian Monk even if it weren't for just her character or Tony's character.
Traylor says she would love to act alongside Clive Owen.
Traylor is quick to point out Tony's resemblance to his character, "Tony also is very particular, as well as very bright."
Monk: This is definitely my favorite job so far.
In a dvd special features interview, Traylor reveals that she was first handed the script for Monk back when they first was filming the pilot, but never recieved a role. Now, years later, she is the new leading lady.
