The pedestal in Toni's music video for "You're Making Me High" was used to make her appear taller than her height of 5' 2".

Robin Givens starred in her music video for "He Wasn't Man Enough" as the cheating husband's wife.

She is famous for her husky alto vocal timbre.

Her hit single "Un-Break My Heart" reached #1 on the U.S. Chart.

She first began singing in her church choir.

Toni and her 4 sisters were signed to Arista under the alias "The Braxtons" before Toni had a solo deal with LaFace Records. They released ther first and only single "Good Life". The song was not a hit and The Braxtons were dropped from Arista. Even though it wasn't a hit, Toni's lead vocals caught the eye of Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Antonio "L.A." Reid who were forming LaFace records who gave Toni a solo record deal. The song "Good Life" can now be found on "The Essential Toni Braxton CD.

Like many of her fans, Toni Braxton considers her album "More Than A Woman" her worst album.

Her hit song "I Don't Want To" was written by R. Kelly.

Her son Diezel has been diagnosed with autism. She has been outspoken regarding her doctor's failure to diagnose Diezel's condition earlier, contending that if he had been diagnosed earlier, he could have been helped. In an October 2006 concert at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, it was reported that Toni Braxton broke down in tears discussing her son's condition.

Toni was used as a replacement for Anita Baker for the "Boomerang" Soundtrack. Anita Baker was unable to make a recording due to her pregnancy. The Braxtons disbanned as a foursome after being dropped from Arista. In 1996, 3 out of the 4 remaining Braxtons : Tamar, Trina, and Towanda released their first and only album, "So many ways". The Fourth Braxton sister, Traci wasn't a part of the group due to her pregnancy. The Braxtons disbanned for good in 1996 when Tamar went solo.
