This one-hour serial drama from Aaron Spelling follows the lives of young professionals who have it all, but haven't paid for it yet, on the Southern California fast track to fame, fortune, scandal and ruin. The cast of characters includes Joanna (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Hadley (Jarrod Emick), a young married couple who left their native Midwest for the Pacific Coast where Nick has landed a job as an architect; Joanna's troubled teenage sister Rachel Whittaker (Natalia Cigliuti); Rachel's friends Ashley (Jennifer Banko) & Michael (J. An artist (Foster) witnesses a Mafia hit and calls the police. At the police station she realizes that the Mafia has a man in the force, so she runs. Trailed by the police, who need her testimony, and a hitman (Hopper) hired by the Mafia, she goes to Mexico, where eventually she meets the hitman, who has become infatuated after studying her art and life to prepare for the hit.

Rockula is about a male vampire who lost his lady love, centuries ago. She was killed by a pirate with a rhine stone peg leg wielding a large ham bone. Our hero, the vampire, did nothing to save her. So he is now cursed to watch her be born again, in another life, and then watch her die, strangely enough by a pirate with a rhine stone peg leg wielding you-know-what. Now, in 1990, he has, he suspects, his last chance to try and save her, instead of watching get clubbed over and over again down through the years. Oh, and he becomes a rock star in the process.
