After the last recording by the Animals of Don’t Bring Me Down the group had fallen apart and their business affairs were in shambles.
Dave Rowberry replaced Price and the group recorded “We’ve Gotta Get Out Of This Place” and ‘It’s My Life”.
Many say the groups success was due to Burdon’s deep, powerful voice and expertise on the keyboards.
The Animals had a two year active career. Their music now was being managed by Mickie Most.
