Tawny was arrested for keying a car in Newport Beach in December of 2001.
In 2006, Tawny made quite a stir when appearing on the VH-1 reality show The Surreal Life. She swam nude in the house swimming pool, was verbally abusive to former Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson, and virtually melted down on a phone call with her assistant when she was told that her fiance was sleeping with her manager.
Tawny and David divorced in 1991, she retained part of the publishing rights to his music, sold him her royalties for a million dollars, and was compensated with alimony.
Tawny's first break into show business came at age fifteen, when she started to model for magazine layouts, mostly blue jeans.
On November 22, 2006, Tawny was arrested and charged with possession of 15 grams of cocaine at her Laguna Nigel, CA apartment. In December of the same year, she agreed to undergo a six-month rehabilitation program in exchange for the State dropping all charges.
