Ray Park: In 1990 I became a fan of Jet Li after I saw him "Shaolin Temple", I was blown away by his skills as a martial artist. I learned that he practiced Wushu, I wanted to do Wushu, I wanted to get into doing movies, thats when i seeked out MR. Kim Sen Han, the National British Wushu Team coach. I was a member of the British Wushu team between 1991-1996.
In April, 2005 Ray attended the Wellington Armaggeddon Pulp Expo Convention in New Zealand as the special Star Wars guest where he was dressed in full costume and make-up as his character, Darth Maul.
Ray Park competed in the 1993 World Wushu Games in Malaysia.
