He has four daughters and a son.
In 1967, Rade landed his first movie roles in two Serbian films, "Crne ptice" and "Iluzija".
Rade participated in many charity and peace initiatives.
Besides acting and writing, Rade also released four musical albums.
Rade had only one starring role in an American TV show. He played Dr. Aleksander Cirko in a mystery show "Surface."
Rade graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1969, in the University of Zagreb.
In 2005, Rade was ranked #4 in a Croatian magazine "Hollywood" in an article titled "Best Croatian Male Movie Stars of All Time."
Rade was a professor in a Serbian town Novi Sad.
