Noriko's favorite non-Japanese music artist is Bon Jovi.
Noriko has released over 12 photo books throughout her career. These books are a collection of photographs from a variety of Noriko's work and everyday adventures. Such books includes "Shinin Run" released in February of 1993, "ORANGE HOTEL" released in November of 1995, and "fizz" released in November of 1997.
Noriko is employed by the international consumer and professional electronics corporation, Victor Company of Japan, Limited, better known as JVC. She has worked under this label since the beginning of her singing career in 1986.

Noriko's first major role in a live action movie was starring as Kyoko Harase in Ju-on: The Grudge 2, which was released in 2003 in Japan.
Over 40,000 copies of Sakai's debut single, "Otoko no Ko ni Naritai", were sold throughout the country, giving her an incredible start.
Sakai is exceedingly popular in Taiwan and Hong Kong; possibly even more so than in Japan.
