In the final season of the show Nicole de Boer replaced Terry Farrell as Lieutenant Ezri Dax. Dax needs a host body to stay alive. The Dax portion of Jadzia is placed inside of Ezri. It must have been tough for Nicole to fill Terry Farrell's shoes. Terry was six feet tall, but Nicole was just 5'5" tall.
