Natalie: I am so many different people and I guess that the grass will always be greener - when I am singing, I will want to be acting and when I am acting, I will want to be singing.
Natalie (on her "Neighbours" character, Izzy): She was never a bad girl, just a girl who made bad decisions... and kept making them. I wanted Izzy to really go out with a bang, but the producers had other things in mind and then gave me a nice little twist at the end.
Natalie (on her final day on "Neighbours"): I was in tears all day and just a total wreck. I was certain that I would be fine as I was prepared for it, but I couldn’t stop the tears flowing as we filmed. I was so emotional. If Alan (Fletcher) was there, I would have been worse. We had done so much together on the show. I probably wouldn’t have been able to speak all if he was there.
Natalie: I've been on air three years, so I don't think they (the public) liked me at first – well obviously, because this is the first time I've been nominated for any award, let alone a Gold Logie.
Natalie: Hopefully that has allowed people to see that I'm more than just a nasty pest. -about joining the Rogue Traders
Natalie (on her final scene on "Neighbours"): It was a really emotional scene to play. Obviously, I was leaving. But I think the biggest thing about it is that Izzy’s relationships with all the other characters have come full circle. You see all of that changing until the very last minute.
Natalie (asked to nominate her favourite Izzy storyline): I think it’s everything I’ve done with Jackie and Alan. That whole storyline lasted so long and it felt like a real story because we didn’t have to rush it. I loved the scene a couple of years back where Izzy told Karl that the baby she miscarried wasn’t his. That was the most full-on scene. Then he kicked her out and it became even more outrageous from then on.
Natalie is now dating one of the members of her band, Rogue Traders. Their debut single "Voodoo Child" is now a big club hit in Britain.
