Mr. T had a specially-made ultrasonic cleaner for his gold.

Mr. T lent his voice to the "More Trouble Than They're Worth" album by the Indianapolis punk band Sloppy Seconds in 1998, after bumping into them at a comic shop.

Mr. T signed a contract with the Los Angeles firm Navtones GPS Systems in November 2005, to provide his voice for driving instructions and directions. Some of the phrases include "Pay attention to what I'm saying" and "Mr. T gonna get you there in one piece … you gonna be there safely, or else!"

In 1982 Mr. T was spotted by Sylvester Stallone while taking part in "The World's Toughest Bouncer" contest. His role in Rocky III (1983) was originally intended as just a few lines, but Stallone built up the part around the man.
