Mitzi's first and only appearance on daytime television was on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless," where she spent two years as a regular, and some time as a recurring character.
Besides acting, Mitzi also likes painting, yoga, hiking, working out, and photographing.
Mitzi studied acting at Atlanta's Alliance Theater.
She directed two episodes of "Silk Stalkings" after she left the show.
In 1995, Mitzi left "Silk Stalkings" to have her first child Madison, and so did her co-star Rob Estes, which left many fans protesting.
Her first appereance on a television series was on HBO's show "1st & Ten" in 1989.
She is 5' 5" (1.65m).
