Michael Weatherly: I love taking naps in between scenes. My character wears glasses (Logan Cale in Dark Angel), so when I wake up from the nap my glasses are a little bent and crooked and I have to straighten them out. There are a couple of scenes where my glasses appear crooked. It’s all because of my love of naps.
Michael:(About his car) I drive Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Michael Weatherly: There’s not a lot on TV that’s like Dark Angel. To its credit, it’s not a show that’s trying to be like everything else. It’s not a copycat.
Michael Weatherly: When you read a script you always have that perspective. If it’s a television show, you kind of imagine it on a television, with television angels and everything. When you read a movie script, you really flesh it out with movie stars and the whole thing.
Michael Weatherly: I always had three pair of pants, four shirts, a sweater and jacket. Now I have, like, three rooms of clothes. Of course, I have terrible taste.
He is the uncle of Alexandra Breckenridge from Dirt and She's the Man.
He worked in the videotape library of ABC, a big part of his job there was to log and cart around one-inch reels of tape.
Micheal Weatherly played Logan Cale on Dark Angel from 2000 - 2002. This is where he met Jessica Alba who also starred in Dark Angel.
Michael has been let loose with a camera, provided by the TV show Extra, and humorously filmed the set of the season 3 season finale of NCIS and his co-workers.

Michael Weatherly: When I first read the script, someone had left it in my apartment. They had been housesitting while I was away working out of the country, and when I came back this had been sitting on my desk. And it had said, ‘Dark Angel, James Cameron, Charles Eglee’. And I had thought, ‘Oh, Jim Cameron’s new movie - this is kind of cool.’ So I picked it up and read it, envisioning Ed Harris as Logan. Then, a couple of weeks later, I got a call from my manger, and she said, ‘Do you want to audition for this Dark Angel thing? We’ve got a meeting for you.’ And I said, “‘Great, which part?’ I mean, I figured I’d be bodyguard number three or maybe I’d get to be one of the jam pony messengers in the back. And she said, ‘No, no. Logan.’
As a child, Michael played soccer. This got him accepted into a prestigious boarding school in Connecticut.
Michael Weatherly: (On his "Dark Angel" character, 'Logan') He's got the tricked-out apartment. He's also extremely good at the computer stuff. I don't even know where the power switch is! My character kicks butt!
He was to star in a TV series created by Aaron Spelling in 1996, called Pier 66, but after filming the pilot NBC dropped the show.
His father cut him off from his inheritance when Michael decided to pursue acting.
Michael was married to Amelia Heinle from 1995 - 1997. He has one son, August, who was born in 1996.
Michael used to date model/actress Rachel Hunter.
