In 1995 Irvin set an NFL record with 100 yards receiving. He also proceeded to break his own team records with 111 receptions and 1,603 receiving yards.
Though Irvin's name made the list for the 2006 inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame he was denied admittance. Though actions off the field are not mean to have any bearing on Hall of Fame acceptance, it is generally agreed his denial was because of his off the field drug problems....
