Martin Landau filmography

Max and Helen
Based on the fact-based novel by Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal (Landau) based on his 1962 prosecution of the head (Jonathan Philips) of a Polish factory whom he learns was a murderous labor camp commandant. To be able to take him to justice, he must find witnesses who can help him. This leads him to Max Rosenberg (Treat Williams), a still tormented individual who lost his wife, Helen (Alice Krige), in the camps. Initially Max refuses to cooperate, but gradually his story unfolds beginning before the Holocaust.

Tucker: The Man and His Dream
Based on a true story. Shortly after World War II, Preston Tucker is a grandiose schemer with a new dream, to produce the best cars ever made. With the assistance of Abe Karatz and some impressive salesmanship on his own part, he obtains funding and begins to build his factory. The whole movie also has many parallels with director Coppola's own efforts to build a new movie studio of his own.
