Malcolm: We've always been a true band. You won't find one any truer. AC/DC will always be AC/DC. Sometimes we'll do well, sometimes not so well, but the music of AC/DC will always be the same.
Malcolm: I like the bell 'couse it makes a brilliant sound and it was fitting for the time we went through after Bon's death and Back in Black and so on. It was part of the situation at the time. Those cannons I'm not sure about. If it was a real cannon out there and we could blow everyone's brains out, then that would be GREAT.
Malcolm: We were a scandal in Australia. They love scandal there. Mums tugging their kids away from us in the street."Ooh look--them".
He missed the bands 1988 tour because he was trying to overcome his alcoholism.
Malcolm plays a 1963 Gretsch Jet Firebird guitar with the neck and middle pickups removed.
His first show with AC/DC was in the Chequers Club in Sydney on New Years Eve, 1973.
