A nice coincidence: Lesley Ann Warren auditioned for the role of Lois Lane in Superman The Movie, 1978, and recently plays the role of Teri Hatcher's mother in Desperate Housewives. The same Teri Hatcher who became famous for playing Lois Lane in the TV show "The New Adventures of Superman". She also actually played the role of Lois Lane in the 1975 televison adaption of musical "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, it's Superman."
