Lauren did a one-women show called 25 Physics which won two Dramalogue Awards for Best Performance and Best Direction.
The first role that she did in television was of Miko Wakamatsu on "The Facts of Life".
She managed to land a spot in the touring company of "A Chorus Line" when she was 17 years old.
Lauren has been married to Curt Kaplan since 1999, and they have a son together.
