Laura was originally offered the role of Naked Mandy in Season 1 of "24" - The character appeared for only three episodes. Laura turned down the role because she felt it was too risque. The producers offered her the role of Marie in Season 2.
Laura appears nude in three movies: “Best Wishes Mason Chadwick”, “Habitat” and “The Faculty”. All three nude scenes involve splashing around in water.
One of Laura's favorite movies is called 'Kids'.
Laura's first film appearance was in the 1990 film adaptation of Stephen King's It.
Laura began acting at age six, working professionally in Vancouver for 14 years before focusing on feature film work.
