Larry The Cable Guy: I was born and raised in Pawnee City, Nebraska. I lived right next to the sale barn and I raised pigs. My dad was a guidance counselor at Wymore High School. He was also a preacher and did farming as well. We leased out our crop land but had cattle and horses.

Larry The Cable Guy: More people wanted to see me sit on a toilet than see her spread her legs. What's that have to say (He laughs some more.) The only difference is my movie cost $3 million (to make) and hers cost $54 million.
Larry the Cable Guy: (when asked how famous he was before filming "Cars") Oh shoot. I was real famous down at the 7-11 around the corner. (Laughs) It's been crazy. I never dreamed in a million years about this. I pinch myself all the time. Every year it's gotten better and better.

Larry The Cable Guy's latest comedy CD is the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour: One For The Road CD."
Larry has a numerous amount of Comedy CDs. Most of the CDs are solo and a few of them are with his team from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.

Larry is a huge University of Nebraska fan (mostly football). Although he's lived in Florida for 27 years, he still calls Nebraska home. His accent is a combination of Pawnee City, NE and his current home near Orlando, FL. He's lived there since he was 16. He's bought a second home south of Lincoln, watches as many games as he could in the past and recently bought one of the new (2006) sky boxes in the North end-zone. He tries to wear some article of clothing (usually a hat) that says "Nebraska" or "Huskers" during every performance.

The name "Larry The Cable Guy" was actually was actually a name he made up for radio comedy in 1991.
