While growing up she dreamed of being a teacher.
She has over 20 years information and process computer system experience in the consulting, manufacturing and nuclear utility industries.
At an early age she fell in love with cats.
In 1986, her friend, Bill Sherwood, wrote the film, Parting Glance, and cast Kinney in the movie. That opportunity led to other job offers.
