Her character in the movie Halloween: Resurrection was an aspiring actress who was unfortunately murdered in the film.
Currently she has 3 tattoos: 1. On the back of her neck is a Japanese kanji symbol for 'choice' which is rarely seen in the series and one of the reasons she grew her hair longer between the mini-series and Season 2. 2. She has another tattoo of a cross on her back that is covered by large bandages whenever her shoulder is uncovered, such as in the episode "The Farm" (Christianity exists in a different form in Battlestar Galactica). 3. She has one tattoo on her left forearm that reads "Bona fiscalia," which means "public property" in Latin. It is visible in numerous episodes.

Katee Sackhoff: (speaking about Dirk Benedict) If Dirk pitched up to work on the show I’d probably quit. I met him in Los Angeles and I thought we’d really hit it off. He was a great guy, he was very complimentary and very un-Hollywood. Then he turned around a month later and talked complete crap about the show and the actors on it. He wrote an article saying the network sold out and my character was more brash than his character. I felt like he’d stabbed me in the back.

Katee Sackhoff: I get some very nice fan letters. Someone actually sent one to my parents, with another letter inside for me. Kinda weird.
Katee was a competitive swimmer in high school, before she suffered a knee injury.
