The director of "Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood," John Carl Buechler had Kane cast as Jason after working with Kane in the film "Prison."
As of 2006, Kane is the only actor/stuntman to have played Jason Voorhees more than once. Kane has donned the hockey mask in three "Friday the 13th" movies.
