But the one thing that I don't really agree with is that everybody and their mother just does every standard ever.
Even on the drum level, it's all about stating your theme, going back to certain things that need to be emphasized, not doing fills for the sake of doing fills.
I had thought about trying different drum sets, but it was just too time-consuming, and we spent so long just getting the tone.
