Imogen wrote the play We Happy Few, which ran at the Gielgud Theatre, London, from 19 June to 31 July 2004, directed by Trevor Nunn and starring Juliet Stevenson.
In her teens, while attending Westminster School, Imogen lived with her family on a river barge moored on the River Thames at Chelsea.
Imogen married the director Sir Trevor Nunn in 1994, and they have two children, a daughter called Ellie and a son called Jesse.
