Howard: It hurts, all of these accusations that are being thrown around. I was there for Anna through thick and thin, and I will continue to fight for what she would have wanted. I know her. I spent all day, everyday with her. These people that know anything about her, know, that she didn't have anyone or thing hanging around that she was bothered by.
Howard: I am in no way taking advantage of Anna Nicole's death. In fact, I am absolutely devastated, she was my everything. Now, my everything is nothing, and I don't know how to cope with it.
Howard was named the executor of Anna's estate in 2001, and all of her posessions were to be passed on to her son Daniel. Since Daniel had passed away, Howard is next in line for her will.
Howard has denied all allegations that he was involved in Daniel's death. He was accused of providing precription drugs for him to take.
Howard claims that he and Anna had decided that it would be in their best interest if they kept their romantic relationship a secret, due to their client/lawyer contract.
Howard and Anna shared a 'Commitment Ceremony' in the Bahamas on September 28, 2007. They exchanged vows in an informal ceremony as well as rings on a boat near Nassau, it was not a legally binding marriage.
Howard's family is very protective of him, and defend him against the allgations that are swirling around him now, that he was a svengali. He cites that he leaned on them for financial support as well as on Anna.
Howard and Anna maintained a close relationship throughout their reality show run, but fought like brother and sister.
Howard first met Anna when his law firm handled her modeling contracts in the mid 1990s. He presented her direct examination at the trial where she fought for the fortune of her late husband, J. Howard Marshall, his law firm was later dissolved, and he began to co-star on her E! network reality show with her.
Howard graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1994.
