Howard was named the executor of Anna's estate in 2001, and all of her posessions were to be passed on to her son Daniel. Since Daniel had passed away, Howard is next in line for her will.

Howard has denied all allegations that he was involved in Daniel's death. He was accused of providing precription drugs for him to take.

Howard claims that he and Anna had decided that it would be in their best interest if they kept their romantic relationship a secret, due to their client/lawyer contract.
