Gigi Edgley: It's sometimes nice just to look at the stars for a bit and remind yourself what it's all about. The bigger picture. Don't take it all too seriously. And remember that it is all a bit of a dream. Because we're these weird human things, stuck on a rock in the middle of nowhere. Yes you do have to work your arse off to get where you want to go, but at the same time you've got to be able to play.
Gigi Edgley:when my girlfriend and I went to Mexico. We where on the beach and she was calling "Gigi! Gigi!" and everyone was laughing their heads off - turns out that it sounds like the slang word for "tits". So she was yelling out "Tits! Tits!" And every male on the beach was going, "All right then!" Welcome to Mexico.

After graduating from university in 1998, she shared a three bedroom house with five actors and musicians in Sydney.
Her character Chiana on Farscape was originaly only designed for one episode.
After getting into costume and make-up for the first time on Farscape, she got sent home at the end of the day without shooting anything.

Gigi plays bongos, paints, writes poetry, experiments with some script writing and studies and practices Reiki (associated with "hands on healing") on occasion.

When Gigi went for the part of Chiana in Farscape ,she had six callbacks, was called in for optometry consultations for contact lenses, and yet still didn't know if she had the part.
Her mother is a former Miss Australia.
everyone thought Gigi was going to be a boy so her name was Bruce for quite a while. One day she was screaming in the back of the car, and that song from the movie Gigi; Thank Heavens For Little Girls came on, she went silent, and became Gigi.
Gigi Starred in a radio play with Clancy Brown called Titanic Dreams.
Currently shooting a feature film, Long Way to Freo.
Gigi's father is concert promoter Michael Edgley.
