Gary Wright is a musical genius. I thought ( back in 1975 ) this person singing this song sings so sincere...he seems to be a rock star GENIUS. He\\\'s from Cresskill right near me !! I read that he\\\'s from Cresskill not long after \\\"the Dream Weaver\\\" (1975). When I came home from school every day alone in 1975 his song + his singing + that intro/outro made me happy. Tell him we all still love him + his music as always. Christmas 1975 his album was in the front window display of every shopping mall record store + I love the way that album cover looks. The original album has a photo of the Dream Weaver himself standing expressionless looking so cool you should see it !! He + certain other rock stars PERSONIFY the years 1975 + 1976 + I told them all so + these heroes of mine all sent me the nicest replies via web.

Gary is a rock genius man. Look at the \\\"Midnight Special\\\" version of \\\"Dream Weaver\\\" from January 1976 he looks like a movie star and sings like a super star. That foto on the back cover of \\\"The Dream Weaver\\\" album where he\\\'s standing arms folded expressinless was photographed diagonally - the entire album concept was his entirely.

My friends and I were amazed to learn he was from our area.
Remember when Dream Weaver was #1 and every radio station, car radio and jukebox was playing it ? One guy would stand next to the jukebox and play it over and over all night long and he would say the same thing over and over... \\\"oh ! this is the coolest song in the world !!\\\" . Everyone loved it.
