Galens most embarrasing moment is when he was going to rescue Sheridan (Mckenzie Westmore) and ran straight into the door and cut his nose and nearly knocked himself out.
Best friends on the set: James Hyde (Sam), Dalton James (Hank) and Travis Schuldt (Ethan). Galen has known James Hyde for about 6 years. They met in Miami when Galen was directing two films in which James appeared. He says "It's ironic they ended up on the same show together".
When he and his sister were younger, they were sure they saw some UFOs, although he hasn't seen anything lately so he's kind of skeptical on the UFO issue. But an interesting note: Galen Gering can fly a plane.
His most treasured possession is his hair gel. He comments "I'm losing my hair". LOL
His favorite animal is Lion.
His favorite movies are Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now, Something About Mary & Life is Beautiful.
His favorite ice-cream is Cherry. He comments "Oh yeah, it's all about Cherry." lol
Galens favorite food is Thai/Sushi.
He drove a '73 Ford Bronco but sold it, drove a rental for a while, wants to get the Porsche Carerra convertible; also says he would never drive a new VW bug, only an old one.
Galen was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune: Young Hotties on 3rd March 2006.
Galen's Favourite Passions Episode: "When Sheridan [McKenzie Westmore] and I delivered a baby. We were working with four kids. That was a lot of fun."
Played bass in a band.
When asked about what his most memorable present would be, he said "I'd have to say I was pretty blown away by some of the artwork I recieved."
