Two Can Play That Game
When it comes to matters of the heart, keeping her man happy and committed is all in a day's work for Shant? Smith (Vivica A. Fox). Shant? is so adept at navigating the waters of romance that her best girlfriends Diedre, Karen and Tracye (Mo'Nique, Wendy Raquel Robinson and Tamala Jones, respectively) depend on her for advice whenever "man trouble" clouds the horizon. But when Shant?'s boyfriend Keith (Morris Chestnut) is caught red-handed stepping out with a co-worker, Shant? institutes her "Ten Day Plan" to get her man in line. Whether its sexy lingerie or good home cooking, Shant? has an arsenal of weapons designed to bring a man to his knees...and back to her. She's not above playing the damsel in distress or using the ever-reliable local grapevine to get Keith's attention. It's all good, because getting her man back - by any means necessary - is all that matters. Unfortunately the happy ending that Shant? expects goes sideways when Keith begins following the advice of his buddy Tony (Anthony Anderson), who brings a player's perspective to the games girls play. In this comedic battle of the sexes, Shante's about to discover that not only are there no rules - she's not the only one playing. With her relationship at stake and her friends checking her every move, Shant? has to think fast and stay a step ahead of Keith if she has any hope of bringing her man back...with her pride intact.

In 1981 in L.A., Monica moves in next door to Quincy. They're 11, and both want to play in the NBA, just like Quincy's dad. Their love-hate relationship lasts into high school, with Monica's edge and Quincy's top-dog attitude separating them, except when Quincy's parents argue and he climbs through Monica's window to sleep on the floor. As high school ends, they come together as a couple, but within a year, with both of them playing ball at USC, Quincy's relationship with his father takes an ugly turn, and it leads to a break up with Monica. Some years later, their pro careers at a crossroads, they meet again. It's time for a final game of one-on-one with high stakes.
