Farah (explaining why she left “Days Of Our Lives“ to appear on “One Life To Live“): I left Days because I craved some change in my life, and this is going to be some serious change! Also, I’ve locked in Heather Lindell [ex-Jan, ,I>Days] as my new roommate. She’s a riot, so there’s no way I won’t like living in New York.
Farah: (on Brandon Beemer replacing Jason Cook as Shawn on DOOL) We taped eight episodes during Brandon’s first week so we agreed we should go over it before walking out on set and just going ‘Hi, I’m Farah, hi, I’m Brandon’, now let’s start crying and screaming at each other.
Farah: (on leaving Days) I’m getting annoyed that people think I was fired. I won’t divulge specific reasons why, but I asked to be let out of my contract a year early. Days complied, so that means they have until February 2007. Whether they use me until February is up to them.
Farah: (on her first day on the DOOL set) I remember the first day on the set. I was freaking out. I saw Kristian Alfonso, Deidre Hall, and I was in total awe because I had grown up watching them. My grandmother thinks of them as her own children. My babysitter actually got me watching when Marlena was possessed - I saw that and I was hooked.
Farah (on what she‘d like to see happen to Mimi‘s character): I would love Shawn to find out the truth. I would like Mimi to be honest and tell him that she has known for a long time and couldn‘t bring herself to tell him. Then it lies in Shawn‘s hands, if he wants to be with Belle or with Mimi. The icing on her cake would be Shawn saying, ‘I forgive you and I will stay with you‘.
Farah (on wanting to go to Australia and future plans to visit England): I‘d die to go! It would be a dream come true! If work let me have the time off, I‘m planning to visit England this June with my boyfriend as he is from there.
Farah (who she admires on Days): Kristian Alfonso (Hope) did an amazing job during the whole Zack-being-killed storyline. I remember going, ‘Wow! I‘ve never seen her do scenes like this, ever!’ That just proves that if we are given the material we can make magic.
Farah (comparing her screen love interests, Shawn and Rex): Eric (Winter, Rex) was my first experience with being a significant couple on the show, and that was a test run. Now it’s Jason and I feel we have the potential to have a bigger spot on the show. I can see them becoming significant.
Farah: I loved being in the spotlight ever since I can remember.
