Emmanuelle: Nobody’s ever tried to buy me for 30 camels, though, and I’m a little sad about that, but there’s still time! Maybe I could get the price up to 35 camels and start a bidding war. Then I’d feel really good about myself.
Emmanuelle: Burning alive would be bad. I’d hate to suffocate to death, but at the same time you’re unconscious by the time you actually die – it’s over pretty quickly, and it’s not as painful. Burning, that’s painful!
Emmanuelle: You know, horror movies have never been my thing. I love psychological thrillers like The Exorcist, The Shining, even though they scare the living daylights out of me. My brother was a big fan of horror movies like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street, so of course I didn’t want to be a big fan of anything he liked, since I was younger than him and we were constantly fighting. But I enjoy them now.
Emmanuelle: I’m very fortunate to be in a situation now where I am presented with options. It’s a great place to be. I really want to expand what I do, and play a wide range of different characters. And keep having fun!
Emmanuelle: I'm a big game meat person, and it's done beautifully - tender and flavorful.
Emmanuelle: When you are working 17 hours a day on a show those two hours in the gym kind of disappear from the schedule and they never happen.
Emmanuelle: I always try to do things that keep me moving ahead in my career. And once you make a step up...well, you have to start working on the next one.
Emmanuelle: I am notorious for eating out like three meals a day. My trainer is always anxious about that.
Emmanuelle: I started modeling when I was fourteen and I did the whole Japan circuit, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I love Japan and I was speaking to the producers of Saw yesterday and I said 'Look, if you’re doing a press tour, I don’t care where you go but if you’re going to Japan I’m coming. Even if you don’t invite me I’ll just show up in Tokyo so you might as well send me the invite.'
Emmanuelle: I did a movie with Amanda Plummer. And it was right after Amanda had done Pulp Fiction, and it was huge at the time. And I remember thinking to myself, 'Wow, this is cool!'
Emmanuelle: I love my condo, False Creek Design Group did the work, and it has a very modern, Zen-like feel. My favorite piece is the four-post platform bed. I call it my princess bed.
Emmanuelle: The [Painkiller Jane] comic’s a lot racier [than the TV show]. She’s wearing spandex and bandages and pieces of her body are exposed and it’s very costumey, which is great for the animated version of it but for a TV show keeping it real is the key.
