The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring In the old times of Middle Earth, the dark lord Sauron created a ring; 'the one ring to rule them all'. Sauron was destroyed but still lives on in the ring, and with the evil-turned Saruman the White and an army of dreaded orcs, Sauron will continue to bring death and terror to all of Middle Earth. To prevent this from happening, the ring must be thrown into the fires of Mount Doom and destroyed. This important task is down to one little hobbit, Frodo.
