Dita: (about what she wants in a relationship) There are lots of things that I would not like in my next relationship. But I would like to be with someone who is maybe a little bit more even-tempered, or someone with good manners. Maybe not someone who is 'nice' - that isn't really the word - but someone who says please and thank you, is even-tempered and doesn't break all the windows in the house. That would be cool.
Dita: (on ex-husband Marilyn Manson) He's been very vocal about his depression and drug use... I tried to get him help and he chose not to change his lifestyle and not to get better. I think he decided to surround himself with people who want to live that lifestyle as well.
Dita: In 1990, when I was 18 or 19, I worked in the LA rave scene as a go-go dancer. I was very well-known as a performance artist and go-go dancer, and always retro-styled. I was also working in a lingerie store and as a ballet dancer, and I thought, ‘Why not try stripping?’ So I walked into a strip club one time and I thought, ‘Oh, this would be fun’, because I was always up for adventure.
Dita: (on her marriage to Marilyn Manson) We were completely monogamous. I think people thought we were free and open, but we really believed in commitment, tradition, and our vows. But sometimes people change their ideas, I suppose.
Dita: I really want to be alone for a while after leaving a marriage.
Dita: I advocate glamour. Every day. Every minute.
Dita: (on getting married again after divorcing Marilyn Manson) I definitely hope to marry again. I believe in that kind of commitment. And I saw some stunning wedding dresses in Paris.
Dita: No one has seen me out at a party having had too much to drink showing my boobs or butt. I'm not that wild kind of girl.
Dita: (on wearing lingerie) It puts the tease in strip tease.
