In 1943, with the Allied powers in a stalemate against the German forces in Italy, and the Red Army not gaining ground on the Eastern front, British Intelligence, along with the U.S. O.S.S devise a secret mission to lure German troops away from the Eastern front. This helps the Red Army gain ground against Germany. British Intelligence acquire three experimental Russian "Yaks" that are to be flown by American pilots from the 7th Army Air Corps. The covert mission is to fly across the English Channel to do reconnaissance and to strafe German troops. This entices Rommell to contact Hitler requesting reinforcements from the Russian front, believing the Red Army and British and American forces are about to invade the beaches of Calais. During this operation, pilot Tom Meyers, and his spotter, Bob Sanders, are shot down behind enemy lines.

A massive asteroid impact on the moon begins causing storms on earth due to the sudden changes in ocean tides. Battlestar Galactica
The second war against the Cylons is over and The Twelve Colonies have been destroyed. Now Commander Adama of the Battlestar Galatica and President Laura Roslin lead a ragtag fleet of refugees in a supposed search for the fabled lost thirteenth colony, Earth. However, the dangers they face are many which compound an already difficult situation. In addition to The Cylons hunting and attacking the fleet in space; their infiltrator units carry out a more subtle plot even as their former unwitting pawn, Gaius Baltar, helps in the hunt for them while hiding both his own guilt and the strange presence that haunts his every thought. If that wasn't enough, the fleet also faces internal political conflict of which the rabble rousing figure, Tom Zarek, is merely the loudest dissenting voice. In the midst of these trials however, clues begin to appear that suggest that Adama's simple bluff about Earth may be more truthful than anyone knowing could have guessed.

Teenager, Clare Steves, is kidnapped by an old boyfriend, Eddie Spencer, who demands $250,000. The ransom is paid and Clare is released, but when the kidnapers are caught, they claim that the whole scheme was Clare's idea as a way to punish her father. She denies it and is put on trial.

Jake Barnes and his two kids, Sean and Jessie, have moved to Alaska after his wife died. He is a former airline pilot now delivering toilet paper across the mountains. During an emergency delivery in a storm his plane goes down somewhere in the mountains. Annoyed that the authorities aren't doing enough, Jessie and Sean set out on an adventure to find their father with the help of a polar bear which they have saved from a ferocious poacher (Charlton Heston). Conflict ensues.
