Dierks was nominated for the CMA Male Vocalist of the Year award in 2006.
In July of 2006, Dierks made one little girls dream come true. He teamed up with the Make A Wish Foundation, and made Emily, a 12 year old that was born with spina bifida, his "girl" all weekend.
Dierks was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on October 1, 2005. This made him the youngest current member.
