Courtney: I understand that it would be smart, career-wise, to line up something, but it wouldn't be smart for my personal life or my sanity. Some people thrive when they're working. I thrive when I'm hanging out with my friends and doing yoga.
Courtney: One of the strangest things about being an actor is that people you don't know feel that they are allowed to comment on your hair, body, clothes, relationships.
Courtney: What happened, is that all of my dreams came true, and it didn't fix anything. I was still scared, and still sad. You need the same things to make you truly happy and fulfilled when you're famous as you do when you're not, but they're more difficult to find, because you forget to look.
Courtney: Don't suffer in silence, you don't have to, go to the doctor.
Courtney: When I'm feeling sorry for myself, I'll eat Lucky Charms cereal. I like having sugar when I'm in that mood.

Her ex-husband, Andrew Conrad, is a genetic scientist.
When she did work on films, they were mostly lightweight comedies like "Welcome to 18," "Summer School," and "Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise."
Courtney made her first film appearance in the 1986 feature film drama, "Lucas."
In 1999, she was in a TV Commercial for Almay Cosmetics.
Her father was a computer market researcher and her mother a therapist. They divorced when she was 7 and she lived with both at different stages.
Courtney had an on-and-off screen romance with Andrew Shue during the filming of "Melrose Place" but they split up split after a year.
Once considered herself overly busty with a 32DD measurement but eschewed reduction surgery in favor of yoga which she says reshaped her figure of a C cup.
