Clare Grogan Quotes & Trivia

Trivia

Clare appears on the cover sleeve of the album Bite (1983) wearing a glamorous dress and looking like a movie star - far removed from her former dream punk image.

Clare rejoined Altered Images when the band reformed in 2002 for a UK tour called Here and Now, and then again for a few more gigs in 2004.

She was the presenter of the BBC Radio Scotland music show Class Act.

Clare continues to work in television as a presenter and now lives in North London.

When she was eighteen, Clare was working as a waitress in a Glasgow restaurant called The Spaghetti Factory, when a customer told her he was making a movie and offered her a part in it. The customer was Bill Forsyth and the movie was Gregory's Girl (1981).

For several years, Clare was credited on screen as C.P. Grogan, because another Clare Grogan was already a member of the British actors' Union Equity.

In the 1980s, Clare was the lead singer of the British band Altered Images.
