Christopher: Actors think the grass is always greener. When you do a play, you wish you could be making easy money doing a film, because you work your butt off on the stage. Then you do your television and say, 'God, if I have to do this one more time, I'll just go crazy.' I think any actor would rather do quality work than the episodic TV which pays the rent.
In 1981, he starred in his first TV-movie entitled "Twirl."
As of April 2007, Christopher currently resides in Southern California with his wife and four children.
He is well-known for playing arrogant characters, such as in his role as Shooter McGavin in "Happy Gilmore" and as Tappy Tibbons in "Requiem for a Dream."
He is the older brother of actor Daniel McDonald.
Christopher's first professional acting job was in the touring company of Elizabeth Swados' musical "Nightclub Cantata".
