In 2006, she co-starred in Keeping Up with the Steins along with Jami Gertz, Daryl Hannah, Garry Marshall, and Jeremy Piven. Cheryl played the role of Casey Nudelman.

Cheryl guest starred on Suddenly Susan and says that she considers it a starting point for her acting on television. During that time, she also made guest appearances on Friends and The Wayans Bros.
