He named his son, Lorenzo Valentino Figueroa, in honor of his hometown San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. He was born in 1997.
He married Marilisa Maronese with whom he formed a family and later moved to Miami.
His first album as solo was "Fiesta en America."
Before being a solo singer, he formed part of the group Los Chicos.
