After arguing back and forth, the execs allowed her to wear them on one condition: She had to wear pantyhose beneath them (So nothing would accidentally be "revealed" should she bend over). Instead of detracting attention, as the execs hoped, the hose highlighted her legs and drew attention, making Bach a TV sex symbol.
