Billy took the role of Harvey Dent in Batman because he was told it would allow him to return in the sequel Batman Forever as Harvey Dent's alter ego Two-Face. However this role was later offered to Tommy Lee Jones.
Billy reprised the role of Lando Calrissian for the video game, Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast.
Billy's big break came when he starred in the acclaimed T.V movie Brian's Song which led to him being cast in Lady Sings the Blues and Star Wars episodes five and six.
