Mike D: The whole history of B-Boy fashion comes from some kid who co-opts something that comes from something totally different. Like the kid who puts on his grandmother’s fur hat and wears it on the subway. But because he carries it off, the next week everyone goes out and buys one.
King Ad-Rock: We did this press conference and when we went into the room the photographers literally broke open doors and pushed a table over with cups and plates on. So we were just playing around with them - we threw a couple of pieces of bread and they threw them back. It was fun; like a food fight, playful. I hit a guy in the face with a piece of ham.
