Anthony Head's was first known in Britain for a series of advertisements for "Nescafe Gold Blend" instant coffee, which involved next door neighbors popping round to each other's houses to borrow some coffee. Seen in sequence, the ads tell the story of a budding romance between the two neighbors, and many viewers were as caught up by their story as by anything else on TV. The ads were identical in the United States, but here Nescafe calls the coffee "Taster's Choice."
