[On doing the walk over] Anthony Cumia: Being at both studios, there had to be a transition. Instead of just playing something, we decided that since it was so close, let’s put some mics on and just walk. The walk doesn’t feel like part of any show. We’re just walking, observing, goofing on people, discussing what we see on the street, yet we are doing a show.
[On if terrestrial radio is still important to him] Anthony Cumia: There are things terrestrial radio gives you that satellite doesn't, like people who don't like you. We love 'em. You don't get that with satellite. They're paying, so if they don't like you, they're not gonna listen. Terrestrial radio runs the gamut. You're get the most educated scholar or doctor, but you also get the dregs of society, drunk off their ass at 6 in the morning calling you up. That makes for entertaining radio.
Anthony had a hit video on YouTube entitled "How to install Windows Vista". In the video he explains that he couldn't get Vista to install on his computer, so he installed it promptly into his paper shredder.
Anthony came in at number 51 of the "100 Unsexiest Men" by The Phoenix.
Anthony often mocks phone callers named Jennifer, as that's the name of his ex-wife.
Anthony got his break with the song "Gonna Electric Shock O.J.", which was performed with his brother Joe on The Opie Show. The song was a parody of the Otis Redding classic "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" and was released at the height of the O.J. Simpson trial.
Anthony appeared on The Howard Stern Show doing an impression of Jackie Martling. Howard praised him for how good his impression was.
Anthony was a member of the band Rotgut.
Anthony used to live in his car.
