Amy: The song Under the Thumb is about being under the thumb! It's just written about that feeling of somebody having you in their power and basically I'm getting my revenge on somebody who had me under the thumb.
Amy: Music was something that was always there, I can’t even remember getting into it. I think if you’re from a musical family, you either absolutely loathe music, or you give in and do it yourself!
By the time she was 14, Amy had written 42 songs.
She wrote her first song when she was 9.
